Longevity is excellent, sillage is good. This babe is precious. I don't know why it's taken me so long to write a review on Chance. Just wow. Men absolutely LOVE this fragrance. It smells EXPENSIVE. Nice flowers, edp a little sweet , Edt is powdery . The woodiness reminded me of Coco Noir. Gorgeous. Its is a pretty, joyful scent, but it just does not last on me. sorry :(. It is very classy, light, luxurious, seductive.. And most important despite the fact it is an EDT, it stays on me for a long time. There are pink pepper, lemon and pine apple in the top notes. More green, peppery and zingy than anything. Chance by Chanel reminds me of Dove's Cucumber and Greentea Shower cream! Lol! Chance is very delicate. All scents Chanel are refined and beautiful. After a few more hours of wearing it, the scent was ok, but not a love for me. @Sharyssadeann1 (below): thats a rather big generalisation, dont you think? The EDP lasts a bit longer, but not much. Much more likable than what it was. Performs very well in HOT weather. Few years ago I bought the EDP. The perfume for a woman who doesn't lack self-confidence and is the maker of her own destiny. I don't like the opening, but after a while it just develops into this beautiful beautiful scent. This scent have something rareit must be hyacinth . I wore it for years in the warm months. Good lasting power and moderate sillage. So I had a 100 ml bottle of Chanel Chance EDP for 4 years and had to give it away because I just never wore it. This is the only perfume I didn't choose but got as a gift. It's elegant and feminine. I love the muskiness of this fragrance. Everyone kept saying this is a high school scent but to me it's unisex and would suit 30-40 year old women better. Starts green than gets powdery. One of my favourite perfume. Masterful patchouli. I kept it well away from light. I've had this forever. Always fresh and lovely with very soft wisps of musk delicately wrapping around the floral core. I like the fact that is sweet without being overly sweet still remaining classic. Thats why is very important to go smell them at a store before you purchase. I have a love and hate relationship with this one, until I figured the one I like is the EDP and always had the EDT! I like it, but dont love it. One of the best perfumes of our time, a modern masterpiece. Unisex. Buy it online BIG SALE on or Many items for sale on, Perfume rating3.92out of5 with11,137 votes. As a person who enjoys heavy and woody scents, this is a rare floral that I have in my collection. Though marketed to women, Chance could easily, comfortably be worn by men. From your spicy bite of pink pepper to your sweet blooms of jasmine and iris, I'm in love!! A very underrated fragrance indeed.Maintains the same composition as the original without the overwhelming sharpness of the og Chance. What has not been said about Chance? I wasted my money on this one. It doesnt project a lot on me, its more of a skin scent, though i can smell it at random moments. It was absolutely intoxicating. Then jasmine and pineapple. Hiacynth! Longer than most of my other perfumes. It is still 85% full. To my surprise, I was left with huge disappointments. This perfume is light and powdery yet it has excellent lasting power and moderate sillage. 5 and Allure do the same on me, so maybe it's something that Chanel uses? At first I quite liked this. And I must say the gift was appropriate, I know this is not so popular but it's the Chanel I like more. Its easy to say it comes from the house of Chanel. Just lovely. It was strong like really strong! I smell black pepper and lemon. The EDP is stronger and more masculine leaning. Elegance in a bottle. I'm half way through my bottle. For me, this is Chanel in the modern era. Once I get past that I find it a nice fresh floral, good for spring and summer but I personally wouldnt wear it in cooler weather. It has similarity to No. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy policy. I will love Chanel Chance edt to the end of my life. My review is edt. It's pretty, feminine, playful yet office appropriate. It's a hyacinth based fragrance. Chanel No. I don't know why but I just can't like this perfume. I just bought 35ml limited edition yesterday. I consider Chance to be my signature..and it actually came out in early 2002..I remember because I bought it. My signature fragrance , I remember when I first fell in love with her , I was 13 and my friends sister had a bottle of this and I was in love , I didnt get a bottle until my first job and treasured that 1.7 ounce bottle forever , my humble beginnings, the notes send some electro magnetic charges through my body, this fragrance is sexy, sophisticated, cozy and makes a statement, Im that woman my little 13 year self would imagen she was , independent, classy, sexy , kind , sophisticated and confident . sp chanel chance fraiche eau scentsworld edp Way more niche and classier than the many niche fragrances around.. niche to me is better quality and the ability to detect different notes separately as opposed to a linear extremely blended concoction and Chance definitely gives me that. The edt is sweet and fresh and rich, and not as heavy as the edp. Very pleasant yet enchanting. citrus and fruitlike, reminding me of Allure. It's powdery and lightly sweet, sophisticated. Smells bright and warm spicy. Something went wrong. Sampled this at the perfume counter yesterday, out of pure curiosity. <3. I asked my husband to order Chance Eau Fraiche and then he made a mistake and ordered Chance EDT. It's something to wear to a party, I think. The eau fraiche version, which is a bit more green, lasts a little longer. Ha!! I love this one! I needed an up lift in my life and wore this today. I have the edp on my wish list, maybe the edp would be better! The sort of woman who wears this has an expensive taste but she's effortless and doesn't care that this perfume is borderline (or definitely?) This is quality stuff. Why aren't there different pages for Chance eau de toilette and eau de parfum, like with al the other Chanel fragrances on here :(. It smells perfect. The price goes up over the years, yet the quality goes down. Then it gets sort of spicy. One of my favorite scents. This one is similar to Coco Mademoiselle. Smells expensive and classy -- I love wearing this to fancy dinners and parties. Fast forward a few months to the other day and I am in Sephora testing the EDT and I love it so much I get a sample! Chanel Chance edt is fresh, a little bit sweet, a little bit floral. Not at all like the EDP which is a complete masterpiece. It's chic, modern, fresh, and inoffensive - I usually wear it when I know I'll be sitting in a meeting room all day. This smell like a headache in a bottle. I struggle with the initial spray and top notes. I'd wear it on balmy Bornean afternoons with a floral sundress and leather sandals. Very nicely done. You smell Chanel signature all over it, I only like the EDT though, the EDP is way too heavy. It is really elegant and feminine. I've had this one (100ml) for almost 2 years. But the longevity is quite poor and it has transformed into this watery spicy celery scented mess within 2 hours of applying. It's earthy and clean smelling, while fresh and sweet. The EDT lasts forever. So yesterday I bought and EDT one and oh my.. Lo and behold I finished the sample and bought a bottle of EDT! I wish the pepper and lemon would be more prominent though, because then i would absolutely love it. Not too much because I was still sure that, although I was fairly confident it wouldn't offend anyone, I myself wouldn't enjoy it. It's effervescence is addictive.. I think so, in the drydown. I was given it as a gift (the EDP) and it's not something I traditionally would go for, as I love sweeter scents. Bright and glorious! It's very light on first spritz, then dries down to something foul on my skin. What a completely disgusting review by FlorecitaBonita, to describe a whole set of people that wear a particular perfume as boring and have no personalitythat is discriminatory and in my opinion the comment should be removed from this forum. Still peppery patchouli, but oh so subtle in the background now. Pink pepper! And now the secret is revealed - I tried EDT version but bought EDP! She's a beauty and it's a flirty, pretty version of your average citrus florals. macy Nice to meet it on someone else, but not on me :). Delicious and a love for me, but not something I must own since I already have the EdP in my opinion. Chanel Chance edt is my favorite out of the Chance line. I get a lot of orange and grapefruit, but it's widened out into a rosy musk and some other distinct florals I can't describe. So far, have sniffed it on paper only. Very much a patchouli scent. When I saw it I was ready to send it back and exchange for my first choice. This scent seems to get dismissed as a "young" scent, and it certainly will have a broader appeal to include a contemporary demographic compared to its spicer and more complicated Chanel cousins. A lovely, lovely fragrance why on earth did I despise her so? It's sultry, confident, and sexy. I understand why patchouli lovers are appealed to this but, please, if you like and use this one, DO NOT OVERSPRAY. I felt dizy and sick! I don`t have any similar to this, it`s quite unique. I returned Chance because I prefer my Coco Noir. This is the best Chanel fragrance IMO. I could wear this literally anytime, anywhere and it would work. I love it from opening to drydown. I stumbled across a cheap and full bottle in a thrift store and sprayed it on. When the bottle was empty, my longterm relationship at the time has ran its course and I kind of avoided rebuying because - scent memories. This one combine fruity notes with spicy notes intelligently, without being too noticeable. Winter masterpiece. I think the men would find this attractive on their ladies xoxo, I first smelled this on a girl crush in college. I never know which notes my nose will pick up on but I cant help but love all of them. I do prefer Coco Mademoiselle, though. Very safe blind buy. I compared the EDP to the EDT, and found the EDP less strong -- maybe smoother/softer. Although I normally like strong fragrances, I honestly cannot wear this day after day without being sick. It's soft, warm, almost amber-y, with some vanilla and the lightest patchouli you could have in a fragrance.
